Elk County Commissioners To Award 2 Scholarships

The County of Elk is allocated funding annually from the PA Act 13 (Impact Fee) from Marcellus Shale gas extraction. Due to the receipt of this allowance, the Commissioners of Elk County are happy to announce that we will award two (2) $5,000 grant scholarships annually to scholars from Elk County who will be attending college to earn a degree in the natural gas shale (or related) industry.
