Electronics Recycling

The Electronics Recycling program began in June 2004 and since that time we have recycled in excess of a million pounds of electronics. An astounding feat, considering our county is so rural.

The center is located at 850 Washington Street in St. Marys and is open Mondays: 10 am - 2 pm, Wednesdays: 12 pm - 7 pm, and Fridays: 10 am - 2 pm.  Our office no longer accepts electronics from businesses or out-of-county municipalities but please call the office and we will give referral information to our contractor.

The program has operated as a “free” service for residents since its inception. No business electronics will be accepted.
As with all our programs, we also accept donations to help cover our costs.

We were one of the first counties in Pennsylvania to offer an ongoing collection of electronics components, and our program covers a wide variety of items, the majority of which are listed here.

Small dehumidifiers and air conditioners will now be accepted at the Community Recycling Center.  For larger items, please see "White Goods".
