The Elk County Drug Task Force has been established to investigate criminal conduct to identify and apprehend offenders for prosecution, focusing on narcotics investigation, and to assist citizens in the prevention of crime.

The Elk County Drug Task Force is led by the Elk County Detective, with membership from the Johnsonburg, Ridgway, and St. Marys Police Departments.  The Task Force works closely with the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Drug Strike Force.
