Tire Recycling
Veolia Greentree Landfill in Fox Township is the drop off site for tires for Elk County residents. This program is available to residents throughout the year and is free for a limited amount of tires.
Because tires are considered a residual waste anyone taking tires to the landfill to recycle must obtain a manifest form through our office.
This form can be picked up at the office or mailed to you. The landfill needs this form to take your tires.
20 TIRES OR LESS:
- Receive a manifest form from the county
- Tires must be off the rim
- Tires should not be mixed with other wastes
OVER 20 TIRES:
- Contact the recycling office for approval. This is to ensure the tires are not coming from a business.
