INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELK COUNTY AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN FUNDS

Under the March 2021 American Rescue Plan, Elk County has received funding to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and its economic impacts through different categories of eligible uses. 

The Elk County Commissioners are pleased to provide this opportunity to financially assist our non-profits. This form is to be used by nonprofit organizations, registered and in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service and classified as any 501c group,  OTHER THAN 501c3,  that are seeking economic relief from the financial hardships that were caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligible Projects

Community Service projects, capital projects; building improvements, additions and repairs; equipment and furniture; grounds improvements, etc.   Not eligible: Cosmetic improvements, debt service, political organizations or affiliates, recurring maintenance costs, taxes, salaries/wages; administrative or operating capital. Funds are limited to new projects; these projects should be self-sustaining.
